thanks guys...toshio - its not pants...its like a pillow to absorb the impact and some acoustic stuff....which i am no expert:)

the adrenalines that pumped up during the first strum u hear from the amp while setting up...the emotions being on the stage...wondering why the buttons on the effect pedals suddenly became so tiny in front of the crowd thats still waiting for your first song...
and when its finally started... nothing else will be in the mind.. completedly locked up... the music..the passion ...the heart...
and when its all over...the roar of the crowd ..no matter 5,000 ppl or 5 ppl... the feeling of accomplishment..like a war well fought... looking at your band members faces.. doesnt matter if the set was good or lousy..the feelings are just out of the world... words just dont do those feelings any justice..

yea..u r rite...its live miking for the PA+speakers... need to put some pillow or pants or something soft..to 'muffle' or to soften the kick drum amplitudes...so that the bass drum will produce a more solid, tight and compressed sound...perfect for live performance...without any pillow, the kick will be too much for a cheap mic like that, will sound 'cracked' and 'off'...
